National Magnum Testimonials
3 days and he still couldn't get into the National Security Safe!
To whom it may concern,
Beginning in December of 2009 I had a series of break-ins that occurred in my home while I was serving in the Army at Ft Stewart and in Iraq. The first break in occurred a little before Christmas while I was on block leave right before my second deployment to Iraq. Although I did have an ADT alarm system it did not work and the burglar stole my xbox, TV, and more importantly my stack-on gun safe with thirteen guns inside. He was able to remove the entire safe with all of the guns inside about half of which were family heirlooms handed down from three or four generations. ADT and the police were of little help other than filling out the proper paperwork so I could make an insurance claim and the police officer noting that if I had not had a big screen TV the burglar would have never bothered to break-in and rob my house. I knew I had to do something to protect my valuables and family before leaving my wife and two young daughters for a year to again deploy to Iraq. So I changed my alarm system to Brinks and purchased a National Security safe from my Uncle who was moving. He explained to me that when he bought the safe it was the best available and they would not be able to simply walk off with the 900 pound safe. Within the first two months of my deployment my house was broken into while my wife was away but the alarm worked and I assured her that they would surely not try again. Finally six months into my deployment right before coming home for leave my house was again attacked by the same person. This time he disabled the alarm and spent three days in the house trying to break into my National Security safe. He used and broke nearly all of my power tools attempting to get into the safe to no avail. He had also loaded my car up with all of my valuable electronics which he planned to drive off with as soon as he got into the safe. He became so fixated with trying to get into the safe that he never actually got away with anything. The neighbor finally noticed a suspicious man and went to investigate which scared him away. I spent half of my leave moving everything I owned into storage while my wife and daughters were forced to live with my parents for the duration of my deployment because they were too afraid to move back to our house after the three break-ins. The police and alarm company were again no help. The only solace that I maintained during the last break-in was the fact that all of my valuables were secure inside of my National Security safe. I intended on writing this letter a long time ago but my friend who took the pictures of the safe just now found them again after he thought he had lost them so I am finally writing to thank your company. I would never trust my valuables with a safe other than a National Security and would once again like to express my deepest gratitude towards your company for building such a fine product that is truly able to stand up to an intruder and attempted forced entry even over a three day period.
